ARRI Advanced Service Training for Signature Prime Lenses | Online

ARRI Lens Service provides hands-on and online service training courses for professional service technicians, owner-operators and distributors – with or without technical experience.
A skilled and experienced ARRI service technician will explain the advanced design behind and inside the Signature Prime lenses, imparting the skills required to diagnose problems quickly and solve them effectively. Rental facilities will find that service technicians who have completed the training work faster and more efficiently, saving time and money by minimizing the occurrence of problems that necessitate shipping a lens back to the factory.
The training is designed to give you the most in-depth repair and maintenance capabilities you can get with a set of basic and widely available tools. This includes not only front lens elements and housing parts, but also the LDS-2 electronics.
Furthermore, the calibration of LDS and the image quality control are part of the training. This will put every lens technician in the position to not only judge the condition of a lens, but also to adjust focal flange distance and check the image quality after a life on set.
Learning how to maintain ARRI Signature Prime lenses properly and regularly will help to keep your investment in best condition for an extremely long working life, making ownership more rewarding.
After completing the training, attendees will be authorized to order tools and spare parts that are not available to anybody else.

A: Your ticket includes personal access to the online learning platform, participant documents for download and authorisation to order spare parts and tools via your local distributor.
If you have more than one technician servicing our products, you will need to register each one individually. Select the group discount for 3 or more participants.
Q: Will I receive a certificate at the end of the course?
A: Yes, you will receive a personalized certificate that we will send out on a regular basis once you have completed the course. There is no quiz or exam happening to get the certificate.
Q: When and how long will I have access to the training course?

The ARRI Signature Prime range is the first cine lens series to feature machined magnesium lens barrels, making the optics incredibly lightweight and robust. They are also the first to incorporate ARRI’s next-generation LDS-2 Lens Data System, with high data rates and absolute encoders for fast initializing. LDS-2 extends the possibilities of lens data and is being licensed to other lens and camera manufacturers.
